Without a doubt, 2025 was the hardest year for food blogging. People don't really realize I don't think what AI and algorithms have done to digital creators. I have loosely had The French Laundry on my bucket list for 15-20 years. Maybe 2026 will be the year I succeed in snagging a reservation (trying tomorrow morning)! You and your sisters have the whitest and most beautiful teeth! Random but true!

I usually never read these but Im waiting in an airport and your subject line grabbed my attention — I think it was the holiday photo one which made me LOL — and I ended up reading every word. I’m going to try some of the things you mentioned. And I was so touched by your family Christmas in Kansas City. So wonderful how you all honor your family and yourselves. I lost my Dad at 29 and I think of him almost every day and all the conversations we never got to have as I got older and wiser. Fortunately I had my Mom until she was 94, but there are so many questions I would have loved to ask. Thanks for everything you do and I wish you a very happy, fulfilling, and prosperous 2026!

My parents would VERY much appreciate the teeth comment, lol! They spent a lot on our braces (thanks mom and dad!)
