Hi, I’m Erin—best-selling cookbook author, recipe developer, and enthusiastic eater of snacks on airplanes. I split my time between Park City, UT and Milwaukee, WI, with my husband Ben and our lazy, loveable rescue beagle mix Teddy. We love food.
You might know me from Well Plated, where I’ve been sharing healthy(ish), approachable recipes since 2012. But this space is something different.
The Well, Actually, my monthly love letter to the things that don’t make it to the blog or Instagram grid. It’s part travel diary, part kitchen confessional, part creative journal—with a few exclusive recipes thrown in that don’t make it to the blog or Instagram but that you NEED in your life!
What you’ll get as a subscriber:
City guides from my travels with my husband (we plan our days around where to eat, obviously). We research our food EXHAUSTIVELY.
Google maps access to make planning your travels effortless.
Behind-the-scenes peeks at small business owner life, content creation, and the messy middle of creative work.
Personal reflections on food, creativity, routines, and real life.
Exclusive recipes you won’t find anywhere else—not even on my site.
Confessional. The thoughts I should probably keep to myself…but don’t.
Who this is for:
If you love food but also want to hear about what inspired the recipe, what went wrong behind the scenes, and where to eat next time you’re in Paris, New York, Tokyo, Amsterdam, or Park City…welcome. You’re in the right place!
How it works:
Free subscribers get one monthly newsletter, plus the occasional surprise.
Paid subscribers ($5/month) get full access to everything: all posts, city guides, exclusive recipes, creative essays, and the ability to join the convo in comments.
This space is a little more unfiltered, a little more personal, and a lot more me. I hope it makes you feel inspired, seen, and even a little hungry.
Thanks for being here—let’s dig in!
—Erin
